Weddings at the Locanda

At Locanda I Girasoli, weddings take place in a late 19th-century farmhouse in the hills of Misano Adriatico, a few minutes from Riccione and the sea. The day moves between garden, pool, olive grove and hall as the hours go by.

You can hold the ceremony here too, not just the reception: ceremony, aperitif, lunch or dinner and party, all in one place.

The spaces

• The garden in front of the hall, with sofas and parasols, for the welcome aperitif buffet.
• The swimming pool, the backdrop for the aperitif and the photos.
• The Salone degli Ulivi, the glass-walled hall overlooking the pool, for up to 220 guests at lunch or dinner.
• The olive grove with its centuries-old trees and, in summer, the Picnic Field, home of the Wedding Picnic.
• The lounges of the Locanda, for smaller weddings.

The kitchen

The menu is planned together with the couple, using vegetables from our kitchen garden and produce from farmers in the Romagna hinterland, all cooked in the Locanda’s own kitchen: see Private Dining & Events.

Staying at the Locanda

The couple and guests coming from further away can stay in one of the 6 rooms of the Locanda and have breakfast here the next morning.
